PT. Trafoindo Prima Perkasa was established in 1982 as PT. Trafindo Perkasa. Since the very beginning, we focus on the manufacturing of medium voltage oil-immersed distribution transformers.

In the years that followed, we gradually expanded and diversified our manufacturing scopes and activities to cover other medium voltage electrical apparatus.

At present, Trafoindo's manufactured items incude :

• Medium voltage oil-immersed distribution transformers
• Medium voltage dry cast resin distribution transformers
• High voltage power transformers
• Medium voltage instrument transformers (indoor and outdoor type current and potential transformers)
• Special transformers (scott transformers, auto transformers, etc).

Trafoindo is now one of the largest manufacturers of transformers in Indonesia. To cope with the ever-increasing global needs for quality standards, we continually improve our management and we are proud to have been accredited the ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001: 2004, OHSAS 18001: 1999, Certifications by SAI Global Registered Quality in 2003.

Trafoindo's products, due to their excellent quality performance and reliability, together with the prompt delivery and prime customer services, have won confidence from the domestic and as well as the overseas end-users.

The ISO 9001:2008 is awarded only to organizations that implement the highest standards of quality and management systems. More detailed than its previous version, this certification ensures that procedures for continous improvement are also set in place.

The ISO 14001:2004 confirms that both our Trafoindo's products and entire production process are free of environmental hazards.

The OHSAS 18001:2007 is awarded to organizations that consistently ensures the health and safety of their organization members in the workplace and beyond.
